Infinite Possibilities (2)

Within a choice of infinite possibilities, I choose to limit myself (today) to the infinite variations of cloud formations and the lighting and moods they create.

Within the infinity of cloud images, this one contains an infinity of raindrops just barely contained within their cloud home and to be released in the very next moment:

impending cloud burst

And after the land has been lashed with torrents of water and loud thunder claps, moisture rises like wispy little smoke signals indicating that peace has been restored.

mist rising from mountains

The sun’s dying breath promises that all is well:

blue skies

But, the drama never ends:

sun setting on storm clouds

In the skies, and on the land, as well as in our hearts and minds, the fight between good and evil continues:

good and evil

Spectacular shots!! I was thinking of doing a cloud theme as well – I seem to have taken hundreds and hundreds of photos of clouds…surely there is a reason…???

I love the photo of the clouds lifting from the hills. We saw our morning clouds do that today and for a while, I thought it was real smoke, since we have so many wildfires here.

very striking images. i actually see a face in that first one, peering over the green hills. the white clouds look hair almost falling into the eyes. there is even a well-defined nose, and a moustache. the mouth is hidden behind the green hills in the distance. what a cool click! 🙂
