While I was working on this Great Blue Heron photo, the colors immediately reminded me of the Ukrainian flag. May Ukraine and her people emerge victorious from this assault on their freedom and sovereignty.
The barbarian, primitive idea of killing people and destroying their homes and country must become an outlawed notion in our world. We must pull together to protect the only home we have – Planet Earth.
The Beauty Along the Road 
First of all, I love the heron! Herons have been positive harbingers for me for a very long time. Secondly, thank you for your words about Ukraine and the barbarism of what is going on there. A very timely post and a beautiful photo!
