You’d think that choosing only one color to illustrate a post would make things easier. Hmm…..Ailsa is challenging us to find pictures that have one predominant color.
I took these images just a few days ago, as the morning mist began to rise from the river valley, shrouding the view in mostly greyish shades.
I loved catching this vulture swinging by on quiet wings, providing a nice little focal point against the grey mistiness of the trees.
The Beauty Along the Road 
And you resisted any reference to “50 Shades”, thank you very much. The crow is quite striking, actually. I’ve recently been learning a bit about crows. They say they are as smart as some primates. Lovely misty shots, Annette, thank you.

Hi Barbara – yes, crows are extremely intelligent. They even recognize specific humans, quite amazing. I could have mentioned 50 shades for the absence of 50….:-)

My husband pointed out that it really wasn’t a crow but a buzzard – so I changed it in the text 🙂 Crows have a different feather structure, I should have known that!
