Did you know that the Wind is a great and energetic sculptor?
Wind draws zen-like lines across the landscape, using snow and landscape features as sculpting media:
Wind decorates a stonewall with a white flowing skirt of textured snow:
Wind carves a perfect semi-circle around a corner post, using dried grass for a mixed media effect:
Wind decorates entire landscapes with endless rolls of (entirely recyclable) quilted tissue paper:
Wind works tirelessly, equipped with rakes and chisels, and seemingly endless energy:

I love patterns, texture, and detail; it always draws me right into the image.

Thanks, Nomzi. Don’t you live in one of these snow-packed countries yourself (Switzerland or Scandinavia?)…

😀 Yes, in Scandinavia. Will you ever come to these “snow-packed” parts? 🙂

Glad you are enjoying it, Aggie. By now, all this snow is entirely frozen, so you can actually walk on it without breaking through.

Thank you for sharing those images, it reminded me a lot of the snow landscapes in Garmisch in Germany I had seen a few years ago. Great textures and formations

I wonder if they are having snow there this winter? My friends from other places in Germany are reporting early spring flowers and very little snow.

My family and friends in Bavaria do have snow and lots of very grey days, sounds like depressing. Being spoiled that way living in South California.
