This sunset saturates the water and air with a subtle fullness. The sea seems to be pregnant with its own depth. The air is filled with a hushed silence. The crickets suspended their symphony to honor the sun falling asleep under the watery covers.

Thank you, Sally. I resisted my impulse to really saturate the orange and blue because then that very quality of meditativeness and peacefulness gets lost in the colors.
