This is a path into a Nature Wetland Preserve in Canaan Valley, West Virginia, USA. It called out to me to explore a marshy area in the distance. As I was heading out, I couldn’t help but notice the reflection of the tree in the puddle in the foreground. “Not so fast,” it seemed to say, “there is a lot right here that needs looking at.” So I did, then sidestepped the puddle and moved Forward. Sometimes, “obstacles” in the road are helpers, sometimes they just want to be noticed, sometimes they need to be walked around…..
